The Romanian Orthodox Church Saint Andrew the Apostle from Laval, Quebec Canada, was founded in the autumn of 2005 becoming the first romanian orthodox church in this city. In November 2006 the worship place of this parish was established in the catholic church Saint Louis de Monfort situated on 635 boulevard des Laurentides in the city of Laval.
The parish Saint Andrew the Apostle is part of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, sheperded by his Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel. This diocese is under the canonical jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church of America.
